Y'all, It's Fall!! - The Texture Update! (Year 2 Winter Update)

A resource pack that makes the world Autumn! Finally, you can see all your favorite plants in all their orange, fall-y glory. Works with other packs! Also includes Winter. More seasons to be added soon~.

textures? in my texture pack? it's more likely than you think.

but in all seriousness, the reason it took me a year and a half to add actual textures to this pack is because i wanted it to be as compatible as possible with other packs. but there are a lot of things i can't do with json alone, so in the interest of quality i must sacrifice a small part of compatibility.

features:

(note that this is a list of features included in the pack. for a list of changes from the previous version, see changelog. features done using textures instead of json will be marked with double exclamation points.)

autumn:

*most leaves turn orange and grasses become yellow. it's fall time, baby! time to crinkle in the leaves!! (note: cannot actually crinkle in the leaves)

[!!]most leaves turn orange (and plants yellow) in your hand so as to minimize incongruence!

*water is less saturated in most landlocked biomes, to look less silly against the bright orange of the leaves.

winter:

*owo is that snow?? grass blocks become snowy regardless of biome or whether there's a snow layer on them!

[!!]other grasses and leaves also become snowy! includes azaleas and lily pads.

*water is now significantly more cyan in most landlocked biomes, because it looks nicer •uwu•

known bugs:

*vines and grasses don't render correctly in the hotbar or inventory. they look fine everywhere else, though.

*most leaves, grasses, and other foliage don't render properly in badlands biomes. this looks fine in autumn, not so much in winter.

*couldn't figure out how to change rain particles without them looking worse, so snow is still exclusive to snow biomes, even when winter is applied.

*you may have to close and restart minecraft after changing pack settings.

general:

*added the text (also includes winter) to pack description.

*finally updated the version number. it should now correctly read version 2.1.0 instead of 0.0.1.

autumn:

*removed evergreen.png from the colormaps folder (it can still be found in the archive).

*added carried textures for all leaves except for spruce and azalea, as those don't change color.

*added carried textures for grasses and vines.

winter:

*all colormaps are now pure white. not entirely sure why they weren't before.

*added textures for all leaves, grasses, vines, and lily pads.

*added textures for azaleas.

*plants now use the azalea sound set.

*leaves now use the azalea leaves sound set.

*grass blocks now use the snow sound set.

*grass block tops are now given the snow texture through blocks.json rather than terrain_texture.json.

*water is more cyan now (added biomes_client.json).

*updated file path message, since 1.18 changed the file path. it previously read (games/com.mojang/resource_packs).

Installation

Download the McPack file and open.

If the McPack file doesn't work for some reason, download and extract the zip file, and move the resulting folder to your resource pack folder (for Android devices, it should be Android/data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/resource_packs).

(Do note: the .zip version of the pack includes screenshots as well as year 1, just in case you wanted to revisit those.)
